Looking for a Swim Class for a 20 Month Old

I enrolled my daughter in a ISR class, Infant Survival Resource, when she was 16 months old. It was 5 days a week, private instruction for 10 minutes a day. After 6 weeks she graduated. Now, 2 years old, my daughter swims like a fish, and floats. Most importantly, she knows how to survive if she accidentally fell into the water. I can't recommend this course enough. She has so much confidence in the water. There's a website Infant Swimming Resource, and you can check out an instructor near you.

If you want year-round/indoor pool classes, there are mommy-baby classes at TCU and also at several YMCA's. There are indoor pools at the downtown location and the Benbrook location - I believe they teach year round. I plan to use one of these in the fall/spring with my now 10-month old, so I will be watching to see if anyone else has suggestions. The Y is cheaper if you are a member, but I think they are both around $50.
For the summer - you may be able to find more classes and cheaper rates at outdoor pools.

I'm on the north side of town and my branch of the YMCA offers "swim lessons" for that age. Its very reasonable and they even have a discount for hardship situations.
