Looking for a Puppeteer or Storyteller for Birthday Party

I'm looking for someone to do a puppet show or tell an interactive story at my daughter's birthday party. There will be about 12 kids in our home, ranging from 10 months to 9 years old.
Has anyone found someone like that?

What can I do next?

i'm seeing you haven't got any responses. My advice would be to call libraries in the area - they should be able to give you some names...

Someone at our church does this. She loves children. Her name is Maricela Allish. ###-###-#### is her number. Good Luck.

Mr. David sings silly songs on a guitar and uses puppets throughout his "show." He's absolutely wonderful and my son laughs every time he's seen him perform(starting at age 2.5 and 3.5 at others' birthday parties and then for his 4th birthday party.)

You could always look in the back pages of Dallas Child magazine. They have several safe and reliable ads for what you're looking for. You can find the magazine in doctor's offices or even at a local daycare facility.
You don't have to have your child go there to go in and ask for a magazine.
The magazine is Free...even better!

I don't know a storyteller personally here in this area, but I saw this ad on a car in the weekend: Storyteller. Tel. ###-###-####. Native American Stories. Multi Cultural Stories.

We used to hire a lady for od once (not in this area) and she was great. The child would chose her favorite theme (in our case Pocahontas) and then she would plan her activities (make your own dream catcher, face painting, story with puppet show, etc.) and decorate the party hall/room around that particular theme. If anyone of you Moms know anyone like that near Allen, I would love to have info on it myself. MT
