I know this is the same question everyone asks, but I'd like information on local daycares that have part-time care or a great mommy's-day-out program. I'm a SAHM, but I want my 3 year old to interact with other kid's her age, & others besides her sisters. Because I'm a SAHM I really don't want to put her somewhere that they only have full week openings. Just a couple of days a week. I have to adjust to ths too! We just moved to McKinney so I really don't know what's out there in this area. Any & all responses are greatly appreciated. Thank you-in advance.

What can I do next?

I have an in-home day care. I'm located in McKinney on McKinney Ranch and just West of Ridge Rd. I could watch your little girl a few days a week. I have a daughter that is 2. She would enjoy playing with your little girl. Let me know if you are interested. ###-###-####

My church recently started a MDO program (or it starts in the Fall - not sure which) and I think they have 2-3 day programs. McKinney Fellowship Bible Church (www.mcfbc.org). If I was a SAHM (which I am not), I would defintely use them for my almost 4 year old. I think they also have a preschool program for 4-5 year olds.

Good luck,

I would look at the local churches for their MDO programs. Most are "full", but get on waiting lists because a lot of openings come up about the time school starts. There are lots of MDO church programs in the area. My son went to the First Baptist of McKinney program and it was good. This year he is going to the North Texas Christian Academy at the Church of Christ. I've looked at a lot of the programs in the area and found very few that I would not recommend, we chose the NTCA for reasons specific for my son.

I think one of these programs are just what you are looking for, and remember, get on the waiting lists!!

We had our twins in Crossing Point Christian for 2 years and they loved it....as did we! They have exercise class, Spanish, lots of hands-on activities, coloring, etc., as well as learning. My girls learned so much I was amazed! Give Debbie a call or shoot her an e-mail. I know she checks both b/c we've been in contact over the summer.
