Looking for a Play Group for My 2 Year Old

I'm looking for a play group in the Oak Lawn/Burbank/Chicago Ridge area for my 2 year old son. He does not go to daycare so I want to get him used to socializing with other kids his age. Even if there's a group that just meets at a park where the kids can play together.

So What Happened?™

So I looked into meetup.com and there is only one playgroup in the area and it is full. They said they would add me to a waiting list, but I was thinking if there is enough interest I could just start my own!

Is anyone looking to join a playgroup in the area? I was thinking maybe ages 5 and under and we can meet at a local park? Let me know if you're interested!

I have a 27 month old son & 3 1/2 y.o daughter let me know if you here anything as well. My block here doesn't have any kids on it for mine to play with, I too live in Oak Lawn by Oak Lawn High School.

Hi A.,

I'm in Oak Lawn too, near 103rd and Cicero. I have a daughter who will be 3 yo in June and a 14 mo old son. We moved to OL during the summer, and I don't know anyone in the area except for 2 neighbors. I would love to get together with other moms.
