Good Morning!
I am a licensed childcare provider as well & live in Bolingbrook. I always renew through CCR&R (Child Care Resource and Referral), they get me into a class with no problem.
Good Luck! M. M.

The park district offers a class. They have one for certification and one just for knowledge. Check on Bolingbrookparks.org to find out information on when the classes are.
BTW, I have never taken this class, but have taken other classes and the Bolingbrook Park District is wonderful.

I renewed my CPR at Edward's Hospital, which is in Naperville. I am not sure if that is close enough to you, but I highly recomend them. I went there this year when I needed my recert. It was quick and effective.

I would suggest joining United Child Care Network. Thru them they offer monthly CPR/First Aide classes at a discounted rate. Others can attend with you for $5 more. Their website is www.uccn.org. It's a great group and they meet at a church in Woodridge off 75th St.

I'd call the local hospital to see what they have to offer and when, and also the local home day care association. It's usually set times that they do the CPR certifications, so I'd call ASAP. The associations do them once a year usually and the hospital every month or two if I remember right. Also maybe call the fire department non-emergency line to see if they offer it in your area, as I've also taken CPR at our local fire house.
