Patricia Granier at Rothschild Ochsner Clinic on Veterans Blvd by Transcontinental. It may be out of the way when you live in New Orleans (like we do) but she's worth it. Very real and non-judgemental :)

I live in Algiers and have six children, ages 13 to 27. My pediatrician is Dr. Marc Fisher. His phone number is ###-###-####. All of my children love him, so much so, as they become adults, they still use him as their primary care doctor. He has managed their asthma and major traumas [broken bones, concussions, impaling(yes, never allow your child to get on a ramp for skateboarding or bicycling), febral seizures] and of course, all of the childhood illnesses. In the 21 years I have had him as my pediatrician, he has never once not returned my call.

Hi, my name is A. and my son is 5 months old. His pediatrician is Dr Banuchi in Gretna. I absolutely love her. She is very thorough and takes her time during the appointments. The only down fall is the wait at times. It is a group of 3 doctors and they are usually always busy, although not hard to get an appointment. The name is the Pediatric Clinic 151 Meadowcrest St Ste F ###-###-####. Good luck and congrats!!

hi again, M.,

we feel so lucky to have our pediatrician - his name is Dr. Hales (Hales Pediatrics), and he has been practicing for decades - his practice doesn't have the traditional exam rooms, and they don't wear lab coats(which both usually scare kids). he sees patients in his office. he has a very calming presence and considers himself to be pretty pragmatic with all things baby. we were referred to him by so many people, and now we know why. they have a newborn room, too, so you & baby are away from older, possibly sick children. they don't charge for an "interview" w/ him, and the entire staff is absolutely wonderful. oh, and you Never wait to see him longer than 10 minutes! good luck!
