Looking for a OB/GYN
Hi Everyone,
I just found out last week that I am pregnant and am considering changing my OB. I love my doctor but his office is pretty far from where I live and I have been having trouble even getting him to call me this week about some test results (I have called 3 times, the staff says he'll call me back and he never does...Ahh!) Anyway, St. Anthony's is the closest hospital to me so if anyone has a doctor close to there that they would recommend I would really appreciate feedback.
Thanks,
E. T.

I go to St. Anthony's Women's Health Partners in the building across the street from St. Anthony's and next to the YMCA. My doctor is Pamela Campbell, but her partner, Dr. Cherese Collins was the doctor on duty that delivered my son. They are both great ladies and I would recommend both of them. I think there are 3 or 4 doctors in their practice, all women. Their number is ###-###-####.

I have always liked my doctor. His name is Donald Lange, and is located just down Tesson Ferry south of St. Anthony's. He's in a bldg. by McDonald's at Wells rd. Very sweet guy.

I would recommend Dr. Baumann. He is part of the SSM group and has an office in Sunset Hills off of Watson. I think he is great. He is pretty serious, but knows when to be funny. He also has a great staff and a nurse, Heather, that is awesome. His number is ###-###-####. I delivered at Saint Joseph's, but I am not sure which other hospitals he goes to.

Hey E.,
I'm not sure what is more important to you - an attentive doc or distance. I LOVE my OB. He is awesome and very attentive. He doesn't meet you distance requirements but I promise he won't dissapoint as far as being caring for you during your pregnancy. I had some complications with my pregnancy and many questions as it was my first and he was always willing to answer e-mails or phone calls the same day. You also get an ultrasound at every visit which is an amazing chance to watch you baby grow!!! Anyway, his office is off of New Ballas and he delivers at St. John, St. Luke, Mo Bap, Barnes and maybe a few others too. His name is Dr. Shanon Forseter and his partner is Dr. Simkes ###-###-####

Dr. Richard Hartman at Metropolitan OB/Gyn (their yellow pages link is below). He is FANTASTIC!!! When I delivered a little over a year ago he was working out of St. Joseph's and Missouri Baptist. I know St. Joe's is moving (I think to a location near Fenton?) but I just don't know when. Anyway, I would recommend him HIGHLY. When I was only 6 weeks along I was in Mexico and had some problems with a recent wisdom tooth removal and he gave me his cell phone number so I could contact him easily and not have to go through the doctors' exchange. Congratulations!

Hi E.,
I think you will probably get a lot of responses to this - my three daughters and I all see Dr. Stacey Clancy. Her office is on Watson and she does deliver at Saint Anthonys - she delivered my Granddaughter there. She is in practice with 2 men (Dr. Behm and Dr. Probst) and they are all excellent Dr.s I have seen all of them at one time or another, they cover for each other on occasion.
She is just a great Doctor, always takes her time with you and is always available!
Her office number is ###-###-#### and the office address is 10345 Watson Road, 63127.
No matter which Dr. you decide to go with you can check them out on www.healthgrades.com for free.
Good Luck in your search!

I have to second the response that recommends Dr. Super and Dr. Stein. They are the best! My doctor is Super, I have been to all the doctors in the practice. The group is called OB/GYN Health Partnets. He delivered 2 of my kids, my last one ended up being delivered by another doctor in the group - Dr. Hugge - and she did an amazing job as well. Good luck and congrats!
