I am non sure directly who you could contact, But you may look into getting ahold of the Shelter for battered Women. I know that a lot of time these women leave with their children (some teenagers) with the clothes on their backs.
Your deed is a kind one. I hope this helps.

Midwest Foster Care and Adoption Association (MFCAA--mfcaa.org), a not-for-profit organization supports families who care for KC area foster children as well as those who have adopted children. Often, they do not have the resources for a prom dress for the teenagers in their care. The organization provides support, advocacy, training and education to the families it serves In addition, they run a clothes closet and food pantry. It would be a great organization for you to give your formals. You can call (816)350-02115.

there is a cancer shop in Olathe called the discovery shop I believe. I bought my wedding dress from them wonderful organization it is on 151st street and Ridgeview

I do not know of an agency, but you might try calling some of the high schools and talking to a counselor. They may know of a girl whose parents can't afford to buy her a dress for homecoming or prom. Maybe someone who recently lost a parent or whose house has burned down. Just a thought. Best of luck.
