Looking for a Nice Bakery in Barrington Area

I'm not sure if they do cakes, but everything I've had from Ambrosia in Barrington has been wonderful. You might want to call them to see if they do cakes. Have you tried the bakery in downtown Cary?

I did my husbands groom cake from Ambrosia (sp) it is in The Foundrey on Rt. 14 and Hart Road. It is to die for....but can cost you. There is also a great new bakery I have used in downtown Barrington that is in the Barrington Commons which is right off of Hough (Rt. 59). The bakery is next to Syd Simmons Spa/Post Office. It is family owned and she has great cakes! Very good prices and great cakes/cookies as well!

The bakery in Cary, Peter's is on Main Street (off of Rt. 14) and this is who made our wedding cake (it was AWESOME)and our daughter's baptisim and first birthday cakes. VERY VERY GOOD!!!

Deerfields cakes are spectacular. They have locations in Schaumburg, Buffalo Grove and Deerfield. The website shows lots of examples. http://www.deerfieldsbakery.com/

I have had a cake from Deerfields and it is to die for, but not affordable. Dominicks does a good cake as well. Good luck!
