Hello mamas/dads!!!

AT&T is my current cell phone provider and its starting to get expensive. I don't have an outrageous plan or anything but I am paying at least $120 a month for just my cell phone!! I have been thinking about switching to Metro PCS they have a $50 monthly plan, but I have heard the pros and cons of this provider. I've heard Verizon was pretty good too but if I switch providers I want to have a significant decrease in my bill. I just need some insight...What cell phone provider do you use and why do you like them?

Thanks!!

So What Happened?

Thanks!! I am going to look into Metro PCS and maybe Sprint. I have just a plan old phone...not even a touch screen...lol!! I do know that I am tired of spending over $100 for cell phone coverage so I know I will probably be switching. Glad that alot of the providers let you keep the same number... :)

We have Metro PCS, in the area I live in the coverage is great. We pay $40 a month for talk/text/web. I heard that in some areas the coverage is bad, but you can't beat $40 a line! Do some research and see if there are many cell phone towers in your area, that's a huge factor in wether you will be getting good coverage or not.

I have verizon. Family plan, 2 phones, data plan and mobile hotspot one one phone. Spend about $159. A month. Great reception, the worst customer service I have ever had to deal with. Not rude people, just not good at what they do. A typical customer service all for tech support for a smart phone is from 1 to 3 hours. It's crazy, T Mobile was way better. I had them for about 6 years, but had to change because they lost a cell tower near my home and I couldn't get reception.

What kind of phone do you have? I have an iPhone so I'm stuck with either AT&T, Verizon, or Sprint. Sprint is way cheaper ($75 unlimited everything) BUT the only drawback is that you can't look at anything online while you're talking on the phone (you can't with Verizon either, AND they're expensive). So for now I'm stuck with AT&T myself... :(

I have Sprint and pay $125 a month for a family plan with 2 lines. We get unlimited minutes (with them all mobile to mobile is free so your only charged for land lines) / unlimited texting and unlimited web. I have never had a problem with them and I think they're customer service is great.

I have Verizon and we pay 120 for a fmily plan, turns out to be 150 once we added 3 lines to it. I am very happy with Verizons service and coverage. Although in the sticks of west texas my husbands Sprint phone is the only one that gets service.

Boost Mobile. $50 a month, unlimited EVERYTHING. And your bill goes down $5 every 6 months of on-time payments. I had the iphone with AT&T, $50 a month is MUCH better.

We have T-Mobile, and are pleased with them. Look up cell phone providers on the Better Business Bureau website, and compare the ratings.
