Looking for a Hair Salon Referral

Hi-
I have been using Lisa at Mario Tricocci Salon at Old Orchard Mall. She is awesome, cuts my hair exactly in the way it flatters my features, and is a true expert on what looks good and what doesn't. I have been going to her for the last 7 years and still going. I am a professional, so it's vital that I have a good hairstyle, and she answers that question. She is very popular there, but can be easy to make an appt with since she works late on weekdays. Good luck and hopefully you will choose Lisa.

If you can go to Buffalo Grove, Michael Thomas salon is the BEST. I used to go there, but since having my baby girl, it is just too far from the city. Good luck!

I like the Ergo salon in Evanston ###-###-####. It's reasonably priced (about $40 for a haircut and style) and I always get compliments on my cut and highlights.

Hi -

I have been happy with Heinz at Mario Tricoci Salon at Old Orchard.
He's been with them a long time and teaches at their school. Also a very nice guy! I think a shampoo, haircut, style/blow-dry is $65.
I am sure they have lots of other good people there as well with both day and evening hours.

I can reccomend Saro's Hair Studio on Dempster in Skokie. Saro himself is a certified color specialist and he is even a Matrix color educator! He teaches stylists all over the country. I have been a customer of his for 9 years. He always does what I want. Not once have I been disapointed!!! He is quite the character too! The phone# is ###-###-####. I actually go to Hair Cuttery in niles, i only allow Jackie to touch my hair she is amazing and very reasonable! i have been going to her sicne i was 17 and im 25 now!

Vesna at Bliss Salon in Wilmette. She is an amazing colorist and the only person that has ever been able to cut my bangs the way I want them. I have long curly hair so it is a must for them to look good when I straighten my hair as well as blend in when I don't!

I go to Studiano's - it used to be at the corner of Milwaukee & Euclid (Glenview) and now moved one block west at Euclid & River (Mt. Prospect). My girl is Jennifer and she is great! The owner, Rania, and another girl Patty are also good. It is nice to know that if you're in a bind, there is more than one good stylist that can take care of you. I have thick hair that is pretty curly and not that easy to manage - I am very impressed with how they do it! Good luck!
