Does anyone know know of an exceptionally good playground that I can take my 4 year olds to. There are several tot lots in my area, but I'm looking for a updated, clean playground with lots of equipment that will occupy them for a few good hours and then have a picnic. Anywhere in Will or Dupage county will work for me. Thanks so much.
Ty Warner park in Westmont is great, it is huge and very clean. It is located off of Ogden and Cass Ave.
Fort Frankfort is wonderful in Frankfort! It's 80th Ave/Laraway/Sauk Trail road.
There is a GREAT one in Frankfort on 80th Ave (inbetween St. Francis and 191st). They have four separate parks for all different ages and they have a pavilion with picnic tables. They have water fountains and bathrooms. It also has two dog parks. It is extremely clean. Good luck!
Ty Warner Park is great. Has the tot lot playground which has like 5 slides, sand, swings, etc., plus a larger playground with slides, monkey bars, all that fun stuff for the older kids. Has a couple of picnic shelters as well. Plus the splash pad, though I don't believe that opens until Memorial Day weekend. It's in Westmont basically at Ogden and Blackhawk, which is between Rte 83 (Kingery Hwy) and Cass Ave.
There is a park along the Riverwalk in Naperville that is really great! Lots of swings, climbing, etc... and there are 2 different structures for over & under 5.

There is a great playground that I take my twin 3 1/2 year old's (boy/girl)to. It's located in Plainfield, on 127th street just west of Route 30.
It has a play area just for tots and it's pretty big. An area for the bigger kids, skate board area, tennis court and a picnic area with coverage. Also, a couple porter potty's which is a plus with little ones (not that it's the cleanest, but bring the wipes:)).
I think it's called Hudson Park, it's in Oswego on the Fox River on Washington street (which is also Rt 34 there) It's got a huge park with a nice sand box. Very clean and pretty with the River right there.
