Looking for a Great Ped. W/in the Cooks Children's Practice

Hello moms. I just moved here to Keller from California a few weeks ago and need to find a great pediatrician for my boys. They are 4.5 and 21 months old. I was looking at the doctors at Cooks childrens and I am not even sure where to start. I have heard great things about them in general and would like to use them. Could anyone recommend any pediatricians from there. We live in Keller so I would prefer somewhat close by. Also female is okay but I think I would prefer a male, especially at the stage where my oldest is at right now. Also if you have any recomendations for family practice doctors or PCP's under the Baylor Medical umbrella that would be great too. I hate finding new doctors. I've had the same doctor in California for the last 12 years, so looking to find someone with the same stability I had previously.

We use Dr. Jason Terk. His office is at 1006 Keller Parkway Suite 103 (next to the Tom Thumb),###-###-####. He has been our pediatrician since my son's birth (3 years ago) and we didn't even consider another doctor for our newborn girl. I interviewed a few doctors in that office, they all seemed like great doctors, Dr. Terk just felt like the best fit for us. After I chose him I learned that three of my close friends have used Dr. Terk for years.

We use Dr. Garza (female) at the cook's on Rufe Snow/1709. Dr. Terk (mentioned in another response) is at that location. I've never used him, but their office is great. The nursing staff is wonderful, which is a great bonus for when you need to call about issues and don't necessarily need the doctor. Good luck! I'm from Cali too - miss it very much! Hope you enjoy it here - Keller is a nice place to be.

We use Dr. Davis. His office just moved to Heritage Trace and Beach Street. He's been our pediatrician now for 6 1/2 years and I've loved him! We've seen his associate, Dr. Phillips (sp?) once. We really liked her too.

Dr. Frank McGehee...WONDERFUL!! i know u said something close, but his office is next to Cooks Hospital downtown. He's worth it though...been ours since my oldest was a newborn (now he's 9). (He was even on a Cooks billboard recently!)....hehee

Cooks Childrens Ped's

I use Dr. Sara Yok or now known as Dr. Sara Garza in Keller. I also like Dr. Hampton...both female doctors. Dr. Terk is a man but have never used him.

Dr. Garza has been great and a cautious doctor. Makes sure my DD has no stone un turned when she is sick and has been a great help for my DD special needs.
