Hello Ladies!
I have long hair (bra strap length), and I am thinking about going short. I am looking for a stylist that is great with short cuts. I love my stylist, but she really only has had to trim my long hair, not CUT it. I do not mind going into Austin or other towns (I'm in Cedar Park) and I do not mind paying alot for a great cut. If you are loving your short hair and don't mind sharing your stylist, let me know!!
Thank you

The best stylist in town is Virginia Bell. She is on Bee Caves Road. Her number is ###-###-####. She is at the Beauty Store. I have been to so many stylists over the years around Austin, Round Rock, Cedar Park and no one has cut or colored my hair like Virginia. I have been going to her for almost a year and I get my hair done once a month. I have always loved what she has done. My mom also goes to her and my mom gets compliments on her hair all the time. It is money well spent for sure. I have had my hair pretty short for awhile now but I am starting to grow it back out a little. My mom also has short hair. Virginia studied hair under Michael O'Rourke who was one of the stylist on extreme makeover and she was also on the advanced art team for the Sexy hair product line. You will not be dissappointed. And if you go see her tell her Lisa Kestler sent you.

Take Care,
Lisa

I recently donated 12" of my hair to Locks of Love and TJ at Salon Austin is WONDERFUL!! I have naturally curly hair and had been verrrrrry scared to cut it in fear of turning out like Bozo the Clown, but I LOVE my new cut and I have gotten a lot of compliments on it.

Salon Austin is on Justin Lane just off of Burnet Road. I too live in Cedar Park, but in my opinion he is worth the drive! Good luck! :)

K.,

I was wandering if you tried one of the people listed above and if you liked them. I am wanting to cut my hair, a total of about 15 inches which I do just about every year but I have only loved the cut once. Every other time it was ok and I saw it as it will grow out. Well I'm now 32 weeks pregnant and have decided this is the last time I'm cutting it off and will be keeping it short but I don't want to be disappointed again. The one stylist that did a fantastic job I have not been able to locate so I try a different stylist each time and so far have not been excited about my cut. Thoughts?

Hi K.!
I have had Tiffany Cunningham cut my hair for the last 6 years. She has cut it short twice and I have loved it both times. She actually just cut it off three weeks ago for me. My hair was chest length both times. She is working at Breeze Salon and Day Spa at 1431/ 183 A. It's an Aveda salon. I think you will love her!
Good Luck!

I had my hair all one length (almost to my waist) until September of this year. I went to a stylist recommended by a friend of mine (she had long hair, but now has shoulder length hair). My friend loves her stylist as she has followed her around for 3 years!
I have only had my hair cut short 3 times in my life and the previous 2 times i didn't like it. This time I do! I really recommend this stylist.
The stylist's name is Missy and she is in suite 111 at Salons Unique. It is located behind Red R. and Next to The Melting Pot off of 183. I don't have her number in front of me, but if you want to try her out, let me know and I can get it for you.
I also wanted to mention that if you are going to be cutting off a lot of hair, consider donating it to Locks of Love!! You can find out how on their website: www.locksoflove.org

Good Luck!

I really recommend Tiffany - one of the owners of Salon Ciao Bella on Mays in Round Rock. The salon is beautiful and Tiffany does a fantastic job. I've received so many compliments since switching to her. Only drawback, she books up fast.. but I've heard good things about the other stylists too! Their number is###-###-####
