Looking for a Good Website

Hi, I was wondering if anyone knew of a free, but good website that I could go to and upload my own pictures and put backgrounds on it for baby pictures. Kinda of like a baby announcement. But I want to be able to use the background to print off on my camera printer dock, Or if anyone has something they could send me via email or something, that would be cool too.My sister just had her 4th baby boy,and we are looking for ways to make announcments at home alittle cheaper.
Thanks so much!

What can I do next?

Hey R.,
I do photo manipulation in my free time. I'm wondering if you are speaking of backgrounds or frames. Do you want something to just put around the picture or do you want to have the background of a specific picture erased and replaced with an entirely new one? Do you have any type of photo manipulation programs?
I run Photoshop 7.0 and could help you out a bit if you were willing to send the picture and tell exactly what you want. I could return it in a .jpeg or .bmp so that you could print it off of you own computer.
Let me know.

I created a website for my boys. On the following link you can see what I've done before to see if any of that is what you are wanting.

hey there...i would try snapfish.com or photobucket. I use both of those sites and i dont know if you get any of the parenting magazines or anything, but sometimes they have coupons in there for so many prints for almost nothing at all! i had one where i got 25 prints for $.5 each on snapfish. Im pretty sure they have options for baby announcements on there too, but they are both sites i reccomend completely!
good luck

I know that the website Shutterfly.com will allow you to upload your photos and store them for free, however I haven't used it, and do not know if you are able to print anything out, for free or for a fee. I am not sure if you have a Walmart near you, but you could also upload your photo to Walmart.com, they have all kinds of photo announcements, and they only charge $0.33 per announcement, you can pick them up in store or have them delivered to your home. (Also, when I did my announcements they gave me 10 free.) Once you claculate how much you will spend on ink and paper it may be cheaper.? Hope this helps, good luck.

I usually use snapfish.com for all of my pictures. You can upload and share and order. I use them to make my xmas cards and my daughters burth announcements. Also Walgreens.com has many of the same options plus you can pick the stuff up in the store an hour later instead of paying shipping. Your first upload to snapfish and walgreens you will get 20 free prints also so sign up for both!!!

Hi R.,

Shutterfly is GREAT, I swear by it. Snapfish is also a pretty good site for that. You get 25 free prints for uploading your pictures and you can order them at about 10-15 cent a print for a 4x6.

I have stored my daughters greatest works there, she is almost 4 now and I've been using them (Shutterfly) since she was born.I send online announcements and share her photos with family and friends.

Hope it works out for you.

I've actually found that with the cost of toner amd photo paper that it's cheaper to use Wal-Mart's or Target's birth announcements. I also love www.winkflash.com. Congrats on becoming an aunt again!

I really like snapfish.com

It is easy to use and inexpensive when you need to order in bulk. I did my daughter's birth announcement, all my holiday cards, yearly calendars and even travel mugs with photos through them.

Check it out.
