Looking for a Good Shower Cleaner

I'm looking for a new shower cleaner that works well and requires little scrubbing to get out the yucky grime and soap scum. I have trouble getting the mildew out of the corners and on the grout/caulk. Any suggestions? Ideally, I'd like to put something on and leave it there to set in for a few hours before I attack it. Something that will totally clean it by itself would be great too!! = )

I love Soft Scrub (with bleach - not the gel) for just about anything. If you have lime, though, you may try CLR spray first to get the really hard stuff off and then you can use the soft scrub on a regular basis. Soft Scrub works really well on ovens if they get that caked on grease or food that creeps down the side between the counter and the oven, too.

I love "The Works". It gets out tough soap and rust stains and calcium buildup with little to almost no scrubbing. It come in a shower bathroom spray and they also have "The Works" for toilets. Have been using it for years. You can get it almost anywhere, Walmart, Meijer, The Dollar General, etc. And it is inexpensive. A little product goes a long way.

I like CLR kitchen and bath. It is good for mildew and soap scum. Scrubbing bubbles works for removing soap scum on a daily basis. If the problem doesn't resolve, it may be time to remove the old caulk and re-caulk.

I love Scrubbing Bubbles! I spray it everywhere in the shower then clean the sink (to let it work), then spray again and scrub. I never have to scrub really hard to get the soap scum off.

I also like awesome and scrubbing bubbles. However if my caulk starts to get mildew spots nothing works better than a 2 to 1 solution of bleach and water. You can spray it right on the caulk and leave it. Come back later and the spots will be gone! You don't have to scub at all. It also works great if you have shower curtains with plastic liner. At the end of my shower (when I notice it getting grubby) I grab my bottle and spray the curtain and corners. Be careful of your clothes because you will bleach out your clothes if you get some on yourself.

I personally love soft scrub with bleach. I just squirt it around the edge of my caulking and let it sit for about 20 mins, then take one of the 3M green scratchers and scrub the other grime and muck away. Scrubbing bubbles work great too, but does't remove the mildew stains.

I like to use white vinegar mixed with oh about one third water in a spritz bottle-I simply squirt where needed and let it set--it smells fresh and clean and when I am ready I can either spray anything I have in the house (spray cleaner) or simply wash the vinegar off. It also will not harm pets or kids to leave the vinegar setting-it is ok if they would get into it. I guarantee the animals don't come back but it did not harm them to stick their noses into it--they juwst smelled.
