Looking for a GOOD Peditrician

Dr Francisco Montemayor is the best pediatrician in San Antonio. ###-###-####. I know he accepts Humana insurance. If your daughter has Medicaid for her baby, I recommend Tejas pediatrics. ###-###-####. Both these Dr's are located in North Central San Antonio. Another good pediatric that is closer to the 78251 area is Generations Family Medicine. ###-###-####. I am a single Mom with a 3 mo old baby and have 2 friends with babies under 10 mos old so I'm familiar with many of the pediatricians in the SA area because we all did many prenatal interviews before we chose our babies' doctors. :)

I am not to sure how far your daughter is willing to travel but the Peditricians that I go to are located off of McCullough and Evergreen. The name of the business is Child Care Associates. I personally take my children to see the Nurse Practitioner Kare Walker but Dr. Hilliard and Dr. Belcher are great drs to. Here is the number just in case ###-###-####.

I HIGHLY recommend DR William Beck at Macgregor Medical Center. It's off Fredericksburg Rd, across from USAA. I live in the same zip code as you, and let me tell you...he is worth the drive to I-10!! He has been a pediatrician for 30 years and is wonderful with children, and parents as well! He is always right on the money when it comes to diagnosing my childrens' illness. I have 2 children- 4 years and 8 mos.

You will love him! You can expect him to be honest, patient, kind and he won't give your child meds unless he feels it will really work. (So many doctors are quick to prescribe meds, regardless of what the child has....

I have had a very sick child who is now 2 yrs old and Dr Font has done so much for us. He has also called us at home on one particular weekend to make sure my son was doing ok. All the children in his office love him amd he is very caring. He is not afraid to run lab work and make sure there is nothing else going on but at the same time he is careful with what he recommends. He rides that fine line very well. There is also a Dr Ferarias in the office that is awesome. I hope this helps. These doctors aren't good but Great!!

I highly recommend Dr. Raymond Ruenes. I am 32 yrs old and he was my pedi growing up and has been the doctor of all my nieces and nephews and my 13mth old son. Office hours are great, he is wonderful with children, very well experienced, thorough, and the office hours are great - also open Saturday mornings for emergency. ###-###-####

I am sorry that your grandson is having so many ear infections.

I have taken all three (3) of my children to Dr. Michael Ozer's office over the past 19 years. He and his team are very good. My youngest (2 yo) sees Dr. Rocha-Davis, she is WONDERFUL and I highly recommend her.

They are located in Medical Center area which isn't too far from your daughter (78251 - I also live in that area). :)
