Looking for a Good Pediatrician in the South Bay

Dr Flores in Rolling Hills if fantastic. He runs the practice, but all of the pedatricians in the office are great. They are super friendly and great with kids. Everytime my son has been sick, they have made room for me to come in that day. If I have any health questions, I email him and he gets back to me, usually with in a 1/2 hour (although it took a little over an hour when he was on vacation in Guam!!!). I can't say enough good things about this practice.

We're very happy with Dr. David Berman. ###-###-#### He's on Sepulveda between Anza and Hawthorne. The office also has an RN as well as another female Dr. Her name is Dr. Sherman.

Manhattan Beach Kids Docs...everyone in the practice is great!

I use Dr Sergis at Childrens medical group for my son. She is very patient and kind and caring. I would definately recommend them.

On a minute and a half $45 dollar visit, what kind of care do you really expect? Don’t get me wrong, but it seems you need more than ped-n.

We use Dr. Rayne Pang in Torrance. He is a really good guy with kids of his own. My kids love him. He is not big on anti-biotics and is very flexible with meeting your needs.

I really wish I could help you. I moved to CA recently from out of state. I had wonderful pediatrician for my 3 boys previously so now i feel like I can't find one that would stand up.
I switched twice because I felt like my kids were not treated with passion for kids that every pediatrician should have.
I am seeing Dr. Lideia Itchon now. She is in Lomita on Pacific Hwy. I would recommend her to you, she is pleasant, friendly and verycalm. I like that she takes time to hear any concerns you may have. Maybe you can meet her first and see what you think.

We go to Dr. Lauren Nguyen in Torrace. She is young, sweet, funny and wonderful with children. My kids adore her. She is just coming off maternity leave (she had twins) so she is only working part time now but i think she'll be coming back full time soon. Phone # is ###-###-####

Sometimes a "knowledgable" doctor isn't always going to be the best with bedside manner. The smartest people aren't always endowed with the best social graces. You seem to often get one or the other, but not both in doctors.
But, we are very happy with our pediatrician office. Dr. Lin, Dr. Wagoner, Dr. Culmer in San Pedro...###-###-####.
They are very good with kids, I would say Dr. Lin is probably the best personality wise with the kids (she is very sweet and kind and has her own kid). Dr. Wagoner may be the most knowledgable and experienced of the 3, but doesn't interact as much with the kids, she's more all business. Dr. Culmer is the one we have seen the least, but he is also very nice to kids and very supportive of parents who want to do an alternative vaccination schedule.

And a plus is that the nurses there definitely dote on the kids and make them feel very loved.

My son was born 4 weeks early so when he was born we hadn't found a pediatrician yet - so we went with recommendations from staff at the hospital and from a couple of friends who also go to Dr. Pang. We have been going to him for over 6 years now.

He is very personable and interested in the children and both of my kids love him and his personality. I especially like the fact that i can call the office with medical questions and they can tell me over the phone without having to come in and make an appointment. If you were to call them to ask whatever questions you had, i think you'd agree that he is a warm and personable doctor. Good luck!

I'm really happy with Drs Beverly Gates and Delores Kreig. There are one or two other dr's in the practice, as well, but I've never seen them. ###-###-####.

They are just off Torrance Blvd, near Little Company. I'm not sure whether they are taking new patients, though.
