Looking for a Good OBGYN - Marlborough,MA

We moved to Marlborough, MA about a year ago and I'm looking for a good MALE OBGYN (I've had issues with female doctors in the past). I am willing to travel. My first pregnancy had major complications and my second went rather smoothly up until delivery. Not currently pregnant, but need to have my annual done. PLEASE help!

What can I do next?

Dr. Brenda Neary with the UMASS Memorial Group is an excellent doctor. Her Worcester number is ###-###-####and I think she has an office on Rt. 20 in the Northboro. I have know her for 20 years since she was an intern. She took unbelievable care of my mother, has been an incredible diagnostician for me and now has a third generation with my 24 yo daughter.

Dr. Nina Baladimos at Southborough Medical. She is very caring, attentive, will listen to you needs, and never rushes you through an appointment. ###-###-####. I also like that the lab and ultrasound are in the same building. With my first, I was worried that I had miscarried and she personally brought me over to ultrasounds and put the wand on my stomach to check and quelled my fears--with no additional appointment or charge. I love her. I also love Beth Nation who is a NP in the same office that I go to for my annual exams. Good luck.

Kramer OBGYN in Acton (they also have an office at Emerson Hospital) is great. They have three doctors, all of whom took care of me at some point during my pregnancy and delivery, and all of them were wonderful. They took great care of me and made an anxiety-provoking experience much better for me. If I have another baby I will definitely go back, even if I've moved and have to travel! I'm sorry but I don't have their number on me, but I'm sure you can find them by calling 411. Hope this helps.

I love Dr. Todd Shapiro. He's out of the BI, which is great if you have a complicated delivery. His office is in Brookline on rt 9. Worth the travel in my opinion (I used to trek there from Holliston). If you don't want to go that far you could try giving him a call and see if he can recommend anyone. He's a lecturer at Harvard and has a lot of MA contacts.

Good luck

I went to Dr Mary Herlihy in Worester ar UMASS Memorial. I have had two pregnancies with her and both were complicated and she did really well with both of them. I have had my physicals with her for a few years. I love her bed side manner and how she treats people.

Hi J.,
I go to the midwives at Harvard/Vanguard Wellesley - not sure if that's too far to travel for you - I see both a midwife and an OB (but you could just see an OB).

But - what might be closer to you is Southboro Meidcal group- I take my daughter there for pediatric care (we go to the Framingham office, but they have a giant office in southboro). I can't recommend anyone personally there, but you might be able to get some info off of their web site.

Good Luck!
Warmly,
E.
