Looking for a Good Ob Gyn in Plano

I see Dr. Ivan Rovner at North Tx OB/Gyn.

I met him in 1004 in the ER when I was about 6 months pregnant with a life threatening issue. I was seeing another ob/gyn at his practice (who is now gone) and she pretty much blew my concerns off. So over the weekend, I called and he was the one on duty.

From that point on, he has been my Dr. I truly feel that he saved my life (and daughter's) at that time and then again in 2001 when I had a hysterectomy.

He is located right by Medical Center of Plano. ###-###-####

Dr. Julie DaVolio. I LOVE her. She has delivered two of my babies and is simply fabulous. I swear she is just as much my psychologist as my ob/gyn. :) She is the most patient and understanding person. I don't mind male dr.'s either but sorry, when it comes to all my questions and issues as a woman, all my emotions being pregnant and having children, a man just doesn't cut it. Dr. DaVolio has had two children--the last one within the last year so she has been there and can relate. She listens to everything you have to say, she is never condescending or cuts you off, she understands all your anxieties and will recommend what you need--tests, specialists, people to talk to, exams, etc.

You can't go wrong with Dr. DaVolio. She is at Plano Medical. She is in a practice with a few other women that are all fabulous.

I've been seeing my OB/Gyn since I was 15 and he just delivered my 3rd child. Have been very pleased with him and his staff. My 2 sisters and mother go there as well. Dr. Monier in Plano (off of Coit and 15th). He's affiliated with Medical Center of Plano. Let me know if you need his contact info. I'd be happy to share it with you.

Someone already mentioned her - Julie DaVolio. There are like 3-4 other female doctors in their practice. They are located at Medical Center of Plano.

I see Christopher Reigal in Plano. He is office is next door to Presby Plano Hospital. I love that hospital. Everytime we've been patients there they have been top notch. Dr. Reigal is great. I have been seeing him since 2005 when I moved here. He delivered my son last spring. I was high risk and he took every precaution with my pregnacy. I owe my healthy pregnancy to him!

Dr. Jon Ricks. I think we are done, but I have told my husband I won't have another baby without Dr. Ricks. He's exceptional.

I highly recommend my obgyn, Dr. Garrett Garner out of Plano Presby. He is with Northlake OB & Gyn and I absolutely love him! I interviewed him because a friend of mine is an ER nurse there and they all go to him. That alone says something about him. I started looking for the same reason you did btw. Plus a lot of doctors I was referred to wanted to charge me to interview and he didn't!

One of my favorite things about him is he returns & makes all of his own calls. Not his nurses! It is so great to call him and be able to actually talk to him. You can google his name and get lots of feed back about him as well.

K., I've been seeing Dr Marlene Diaz at Plano Medical Center for over 15 years! She is a great ob/gyn, very caring. I recommend her to all my family and friends.

I went to Dr. Richard Kaye. He is located in Presbyterian of Plano off of Parker and the Tollway. He and his staff are great and very friendly. I had a healthy baby boy on May 28th b/c of him.

I would like to recommend my OB/GYN, his name is Doctor Winfred Parnell and he's affiliated with Medical City Hospital of Dallas, he's a great doctor who puts family first,by saying that I mean that he treats his patients like his family. He was great during my delivery - very attentive, put me at ease, and came by very often throughout my long labor.
He has seen me through fertility issues, referred me to good specialists when need be, and provided me with great birth control options when I needed that.

I love Dr. Dawn Bankston at Coit and 15th. ###-###-#### I don't know all her hospital priveleges, but I had my son at Medical Center of Plano and they were awesome!

Dr. Katrina Walsh is EXCELLENT!!!!!!! I've been going to her for over 12 years now - she's the best! She's affiliated with Presby Plano and her office is off of Midway Road and Parker Road. She has wonderful nurses as well! ###-###-####

I LOVE mine. Dr. Jean McClintock. She has an office at Medical City and in Plano. I think she's affliated with Plano Presby - I gave birth at Medical City. She's not cuddly - she's pretty no nonsense, but she went above the call of duty more than once for me. I would highly recommend her.

I ditto Dr. Berry Fleming! I have only been going to him since March, but he is one of the best doctors I've ever had (and I've had a lot!). He is so caring and really listens. He is great about putting you at ease if you are concerned about anything also. I went to him to see if he could figure out a 5-year mystery pain I have. He's the first (of many) I've been to that actually had some ideas!! We were going to take the steps to figure it out, but I got pregnant, so we'll have to wait. I have had my ob/gyn in Plano for 22 or 23 years. He is not old he was very young when I first went to him. He is Dr. Gary Duncan and he has delivered 2 out of 3 of our kids. He is affiliated w/ both hospitals in Plano and I will go to him until he retires.

I see North Lake OBGYN. They are affiliated with Presby Plano and Medical City. I had my 2 kids at both respective locations and loved my Drs. (We moved from Dallas to Plano in between kids.) My OBGYN is Jennifer Denning in Plano and I really like her. I've seen the men there too and really like them all. Presby Plano is a beautiful hospital to deliver in. I wanted a natural birth with #2 and they were very respective to my wishes and things went very smoothly.

My OB/gyn is wonderful. He's delivered both of my babies and was great both times. His name is Dr. Berry Fleming. He is associated with both Plano Presby and Baylor Frisco. There are two drs in his office, along with a Nurse Practitioner who is also wonderful. Their number is ###-###-####. Dr. Watts is affiliated with Med. Center Plano and Presby Plano. Her office is right next to Med Center Plano. She delivered both my children and I just love her. She is in her mid 40's and runs a practice with three other women. I can't say enough good things about her.

My ob is Dr. Melinda Spooner. She is affiliated with Presby and Plano Medical Center. Her number is ###-###-####. She delivered my last baby with a cesarian and my scar is so small. I was impressed. And I can be very open and blunt about sensitive subjects with her. And she works in the same office with Dr. Janelle Watts who was referred by another mother. Go with your gut instincts. Good Luck.

Dr. Randall Burt ###-###-####) is awesome! The practice is located at Presby Plano and I know he delivers there as well. Not sure what other hospitals he's affiliated with (I didn't really care since I knew I was delivering at Presby). Everyone (nurses, office staff, doctors) at this practice is exceptional!
