Looking for a Good Double Jogging Stroller

I am looking for a good double jogging stroller for under $500 (the cheaper the better!). Does anyone have one that they would recommend? I have a 2 year old and a 6 month old that will be using the stroller. Thanks ahead of time for your help!

What can I do next?

Depending on what color and/or brand you're wanting. www.walmart.com has some for $300 or under. Some are under $200 with $144 one being the lowest I've seen. They're good looking. They've got Schwinn and InSTEP brands.
Hope this helps!

We LOVE our chariot. You an add on all kinds of things...jogging wheel/bike clip/x-country skis/stroller wheels/harness for hiking. You can get them at REI, however, you might try to find a used one since it would be cheaper. One hint...if you do go for the REI option and aren't a member yet, do so. It costs $25 for a lifetime membership but you get 20% off a purchase of your choice. So, even if the stroller runs you $600, it will only end up costing around $480.

Hi!
I have a 2 1/2 yr. old and a 3 month old and I was in the same dilemma.. Jogging strollers definetely aren't cheap! However, I got really lucky and was GIVEN one! It is from One Step Ahead and is soooooo nice! It was the one that I actually had wanted but couldn't afford... It is just under $500. It rides really smoothly and has a huge sun canopy and even a cover for when it rains and plenty of storage. However, before I was given this one I did do some research on the internet and found one that looked and sounded really decent for just over $200. I can't remember the brand but I read a lot of good reviews about it.. I would do a search for jogging strollers and look at reviews... People tell it like it is and that will help narrow down your options.. Good luck!

p.s. It was an Instep! I just read some of the other advice....

Hello!
I have an instep-safari 2008 Jogging stroller and i LOVE it!!! I got it about a month ago. It's great because my boys can be side by side, I can adjust each side seperatly (so if one wants to lay down & the other one wants to sit I can do that), you can have the front wheel swivel for shopping or straight out for jogging. I got it off of ebay, bran new for $150. I think with shipping I paid $180 or so. If you just go to ebay, baby section and type in double jogging stroller you should be able to find it.
Good luck!!!

I have the Instep Safari Swivel jogging stroller and I really like it. I have a 6 mos and 3 year old and it is perfect for what we need it for. It's very light weight and I was even pushing them around in our grass today and it goes nice. They both really enjoy it. However if you plan to try and use it in the malls it is hard to get around some of the stores because they cram stuff so tight. It has a smaller storage spot too but I can't complain becuase the price wasn't bad.

Here is a think on Amazon http://www.amazon.com/InStep-Safari-Swivel-Jogging-Stroll...

You can view strollers on their and see everyone's reviews. Hope this helps.

Absolutely the Chariot!!! I went through a couple but it is by far the best. Plus it is sturdy - my kids are now 4 and 5 and I can still push them in it! It can also be used for other things such as a bike stroller. There is even some sort of cross country ski attachment (haven't tried that one!)

I agree with the B.O.B. recommendation! We absolutely love ours. It has a front wheel that swivels when you're not jogging, and you can lock it into place for jogging. (I think this is only on 2007 and newer models; the old ones don't swivel at all.)

I see them all the time at Once Upon A Child. Check several locations if you don't find one you like. They are also frequently on www.Craigslist.org for a good price - unless you want new....
