Looking for a Good Consignment Store to Trade/sell Clothes

There is a Childrens Orchard one Noland rd, by price chopper. They take all name brand clothes: baby gap, old navy and some of the target things. They should take the things that still have tags on them, though.

I assume this is a suburb of greater kansas city area. if so you will get more money if you do jbf.com or Kids Closet which runs twice a year ..and involves some prep....but are a good source.

if you are trying to just get rid and don't care what you make, then you might try Once Upon a Time kids consignment.

also craigslist.com? because if you say most of the clothes still have tags someone might be willing to make acash offer AND haul it away for you. or you could meet them somewhere if you are concerned about safety for some reason.

children's orchard up by target (119th and strang line) i've heard GREAT things about. keep meaning to stop up there, hopefully someone has been inside, but a lady i work with works part time there and she raves about it - she's a mother of 5 and grandmother of 4, so i would guess she'd know!

the Just Between Friends consignment sale is next week out at the Speedway, you may not have to time to get everything marked in time, but you could check it out and be ready for the fall sale, it is much better than someplace like Children's Orchard, as you can earn up to 70%! Much more than at a consignment sale, takes a little more work up front, but is soooo worth the extra $$$ in the long run. Children's Orchard is my favorite place. They buy gently used clothing. It cannot have rips or stains. They also have a huge amount of stuff to buy. I love that place!

what area do you live in. There are a few around Belton/Harrisonville area. Also Craigslist is a great way to sell things and it's free. You may sell them on Ebay also.

I love Children's Orchard in Overland Park and Annie's Attic in the midtown area. (39th and Broadway-ish.)

I would recommend Pete & Repeat just north of Ward Parkway Shopping center on Stateline...

The only place I know close by is Once Upon a Child, I never sold anythign there so I don't know how much they pay, but I know that you have to call before taking the stuff there so they will wait for you and give you the estimate.

The Recycled Kid is a great place. The owner is very sweet.
It is located 135th and Quivera next to Price Chopper.
I shop there frequently.
