Looking for a Good Caterer......
Thank you to all that responded to my previous post about finding a place for my sister's Sweet Sixteen Party. I checked out every place and we decided to go with Tumbleweed Rec Center. My question now is, Does anyone know of a good and resonable caterer? Any type of food is fine and we would need one that can set up and break down thier food. Preferably a buffet style. Thanks.

If you need a photographer to document the celebration....I can take pictures during the event and make a memorable CD put to personal music. $100 for everything!

Aloha Kitchen gives lots of food and reasonably priced. You would have to ask about the
set up and tear down part, we never had them do that, but maybe they would be willing.
That's what my daughter wanted for her sweet 16 - it turned out great!

If you like Mexican Serrano's may be reasonably priced.

I have had great luck with Rigatony's and Serrano's depending on what type of food you would like.

If you are looking for non-chain catering, or originality in menu designs you should check with Scottsdale Culinary Institute's Career Services Department. They have a weekly job posting for their students that you can advertise with, and the students usually charge less than an established catering business but the quality is still there. If you would like to work with graduates, the Career Services Dept may also have a listing of their graduates who are currently running catering businesses as well. ###-###-####.

I am sorry I missed the original question on party locations. If you are not locked into the Tumbleweed I got married at a place called Shenandoah Mill in Gilbert on Gilbert Rd between Ray and Warner. Awesome party place inside and outside. Plus they have caterer references.
