Looking for a FUN Kid Friendly Restaurant !!

Hi M.'s- I need some ideas for a fun cool kid friendly restaurant. I am tenatively planning a lunch for my daughters 6th birthday. Something very small with family and 1 or 2 friends. I already know about the Rainforest Cafe in Grapevine but I am interested in what else the kids would enjoy.

We will be near Grapevine and Dallas Galleria- Any and all ideas welcome.

TIA-

If you are willing to drive to Highland Village, Life's a Beach is really fun. My kids love eating there. The back patio has a huge sand area for the kids to play in. The food is actually decent too.

Trail Dust Steakhouse in Arlington (across I-30 from Six Flags) is great. Delisious food, and the best part is the 2-story slide the kids (adults too) can play before and after the meal. Just be sure everyone has socks.

Think about Babe's in Roanoke. It's family friendly, and not too busy during lunch. AND the kids can dance the hokey pokey!

Joe's Crab Shack in Grapevine and Central Market in Southlake are both good places to go. They both have outdoor seating adjacent to a little play yard. There's much more to do there than Rain Forest Cafe and you get more for your money.

Have fun!

Dido to Renee's response. My boys love it! Highly recommend. I enjoy the food as well. Good luck! D.

My son, 7, loves CiCi's Pizza.

Buca Di Beppo (Italian) is always fun & you can ask for a private table or eat at the table in the kitchen so you can watch the action (114 in Southlake by Costco) or there are a couple of fondue places that might be fun with the cook your own food part. It's a drive but Medieval times is entertaining and the Dallas Aquarium has a restaurant if you want to make an outing of it.
Magic Time Machine & Life's a Beach were already mentioned but they are both great!

There is the Magic Time Machine in Addison which is my dd favorite. Or you can hit the Purple Cow in Dallas off of Preston.
