Looking for a Frig!
We are moving and have to purchase a new frig. Does anyone have any suggestions on a place to buy one that won't break us? I would like a stainless steel side by side with ice and H20 in the front. Thanx!!

I second Elizabeth's suggestion for the Sears Outlet. I've always had good luck w/ the appliances there.

Not sure if you'll find a stainless steel at those outlet stores. I never saw nice ones like that at the Sears outlet store. I just saw regular white plastic - bottom refrig/top freezer style.
We've purchased all our appliances at Lowe's ... right now they are offering 6 months - 0% interest, $0 payments for 6 months on their Lowe's credit card, so you can have time to pay it off without any interest being charged. We've been able to pay off the appliances before the 6 months expired. And they have reasonable prices.
If you find a cheaper price anywhere else on the same product, they'll give you theirs for 10% less than the other store's price. And they are giving gift card rebates back depending on how much you spend ... like if you spend $500-999 on your appliance you'll get a $75 gift card back. $1000-1500 - $100 gift card rebate back. or something like that... I can't remember the specific numbers.

I bought mine at the Maytag store they have a scratch and dent section. Mine had a scratch on the bottom of the side you couldn't even see it. I think it maybe the one off of Stemmons. ###-###-####. Call them and see if they carry scratch & dent if not they will tell you the only store in Dallas that does and give you the number.

Hi S.,
We live in Plano and are moving overseas mid October. We have a stainless steel fridge with H2O and ice, side by side. Brand Kitchen Aid. We purchased it brandnew less than 3 years ago. We would love to take it with us but are not allowed to move appliances. It's in excellent condition and we are selling it. Pls e-mail back if you are interested and I'll be happy to call you to discuss further.

Have you looked at the Sears Outlet on Marsh and Beltline? Everything is discounted for dings or scratches but a lot of them are in places where you can't see them once you put the appliance in place. The last time I was there they had stainless steel, side by sides. Hope this is helpful!
