Looking for a Family Vacation Ideas.. Please Help
We are trying to decide on a vacation for our family. I know we waited very late to do this, this summer. But we didn't think my husband would be able to travel due to his job. But we got the green light, Anyone have any suggestions for a great vacations, that is not going to cost us an arm and a leg... We have always gone to Galveston and San antonio so we would love to do something else.. please help LADIES!!

We are in the same boat as you - trying to squeeze in a mini-family vacation before the kids go back to school!
I think we have decided to go to The Schlitterbaun in New Braunfels for a 3-4 day trip. I was just online looking for accomodations and there seems to be plenty of availability.

Try Travelocity's last minute deals or Priceline I got a 5 star resort hotel in Arizona for $75.00 a night. But, check out the destinations on Travelocity. I have been to Miami on a last minute deal on Travelocity and loved it. Those are great sites to get ideas and good deals.

Our family took a trip last month to Beavers Bend State Park in Oklahoma. We loved it! There is so much to do and the scenery is beautiful/peacful. It's about a 2.5 to 3 hour drive from Dallas. Check out website for more info: www.beaversbend.com Good luck!

I would try Funjet vacations and MLT worryfree vacation websites. They have awesome deals to Mexico and just about anywhere at a fabulous price. You can get vacation packages 3-4 nights on last minute for around 300-400/pp. Check them out. Good luck!
