Looking for a Family Doctor in the City.

Hi moms,

We are currently looking for a new family doctor. Ours just moved out of state and we haven't been able to find one. So any advice or reccomendations would be great. We live on the northside but are willing to go any where in the city for a good doctor since they seem so hard to find.

Thank you for you help.

What can I do next?

We LOVE Dr.Max Pitlosh, he is at Touhy and Western and his hospital is St.Francis. Me, my husband and our 2 kids (almost 3yrs and 2 months) go to him. As well as my in-laws.

We love Evelyn Figueroa at UIC Family Medicine. The only catch with her is that lots of other people love her too so I'm not sure whether she's taking new patients or not. We've seen Dr. Tiemstra at UIC in a pinch, and I quite liked him too.

We love ours. His name is Dr. Jonathon Powell. He is partners with Dr. Toussaint(who is also good) at ###-###-####. They are located in the professional building at Resurrection Medical Center on Talcott just west of Harlem.

We use Rush University Pediatrics at 1645 W. Jackson, ph# ###-###-####. They are are a part of Rush University. They have a lot of doctors. We usually see Dr. Margaret Scotallero. She is great with both my kids. Very calm. Their office has a lot of doctors though, and we have seen many. They are always able to get us in the same or next day, so in instances like that you may not get your usual doctor, but they are all good.

I loved my family doc- Steven Rube of Lincoln Park Physicians. He is on Diversey- near Southport. I had him for years until we moved out of the city.
