Looking for a Excellent Adoption Lawyer

My Husband is trying to adopt my son, not his natural son obviously, there are no compications with the natural dad, but my son was born in Canada, so we want an attorney who is familiar with out of country adoptions. The natural father is an american living in the states, so I believe it should be an easy adoption.

I am looking for recommondations on attorneys who have done a good job in the past and are resonable in thier fees.

Thanks!

We used David Cole, also. He was fabulous. Totally agree with the other recommendation for him.

Whatever you do, do not use Lauren Cain. She is inexpensive, but you get what you pay for with her. Incompetent and air-headed! She nearly ruined our adoption and practically black-mailed us. The day of finalization, said she needed the money or she wasn't going to help us- hadn't heard that til that day!

David Cole. Located in the Uptown area of Dallas. I am not sure if he handles children who were born out of the US, but he is a great adoption attorney and could steer you in the right direction if unable to help.
