Does anyone have a GREAT primary physician in Milwaukee?

I need to find a doctor and am blindly picking names out of the provider book.

Do you like your doctor? Is it tough to get in and see them? What is your wait time for appointments?

Who would you recommend?

D.,
I am really happy with my primary doctor. My doctor is a woman because I can't bring myself to go to a male doctor. I have never had any problems with her and like that she is for preventative healthcare. Her name is Dr. Drehobl and she is located on 6th and Layton in the Columbia St. Mary's Airport Clinic. Another thing I like about the clinic is I can make really early appointments (as early as 7:30am) and not have to miss a lot of work. The phone number for them is ###-###-####. Good Luck. D.

I could not tell from your question if you were looking for you or your children. I have a great primary for me, Eric Conradson. He's on Hwy 100 and 94. Fairly easy to get into, but what I really like about him is that he doesn't rush me ever, and really takes time to see what is going on with me. Very thorough and understanding. Treats me with respect and cares about what I say.

As for children, I could not be happier with my children's pediatrician, Dr. Sadoun Omari. He is near Hwy 100 and Bluemound. I've always gotten my children in same day when they are sick and his on-call services are top-notch. Middle of the night, I get calls returned within 5 minutes from him or the other doctors on his staff. He is kind and his bedside manner is gentle. He if firm with parents when he needs to be - for example when Dad isn't listening about some particular care that needs to be given.

I would recommend both highly!
