Looking for a Doctor for Possible Heel Spur Treatment

I'm looking for a doctor to treat a possible heel spur (foot pain), a podiatrist or orthopedist. I have had heel pain for a while and it's becoming too painful. I live in the Katy, TX but am willing to see a doctor in Houston or Sugarland. If anyone has had heel pain and was treated for it, what was the treatment and does heel pain ever go away?

What can I do next?

Hi there..been there and done that..and it is very painful..and at the time I was working downtown and having to walk alot..I had heel spurs removed/shaved off of both feet(not at the same time)..so I do understand absolutely the pain..I used Dr. David Gunther, DPM, 16100 Cairnway, Ste.250., ###-###-####..this is the Bear Creek area, Highway 6 North at Cairnway right by the post office..

I really liked Dr. Gunther and would recommend him to anyone..His personality and bedside manner speak for itself and he knows his stuff..also he will try and eliminate all possibilities before doing surgery..in my case, nothing worked but surgery..lol..but he explains everything..he is very honest and open and just a likeable guy..Good luck! Let me know if you see him and what you thought..

Yes, I know a very good doctor in Katy:
Ron Bruscia
###-###-####
1830 S. Mason Road #B-5

I used him three or four years ago. He is an excellent foot doctor and surgeon. You should give them a call and see what they have to say. Feel free to use my name if you need to.

Good luck.

J. Fry

I know of Richmond Bone and Joint Clinic. I have used them for years for my family for anythimg from ankle tendon problems to sprains and broken bones.
There are a few drs. on staff there. I don't know if they have specific drs for specific ailments. I use Dr. Carlyle there.
They are located off of the Grand Parkway and Kingland. ( They are on Kingsland between Mason and Fry.)
Good Luck

I found a great podiatrist in Katy - at the St. Catherine professional bldg - his name is Scott Burdge. Good luck.
