Looking for a Couples Retreat
Hi moms, My husband, and I are in search of a baptist church home. We have visited a couple, and are still in search of one, that we both like. I was wondering if anyone knows of a church that is offerring a couple's retreat in the near future. We have been trying to have a baby, and are dealing with the stress of that, and I thought this would be a healthy break for us. Thank you in advance

I have some friends that work at Family Life and could talk to them about tickets if that interests you.
Also, I just read tonight at Fellowship Grapevine (Baptist in beliefs just not in the name) that Ed Young Jr and his beautiful wife Lisa are doing one in May also at the Gaylord Texan Inn. You could call me ###-###-#### about either one or both or check the Fellowship website http://www.fortworth.fellowshipchurch.com/
the main campus is the Grapevine one but we attend the Fort worth location.
Hope that helps,
C.

HI, I'm not sure where you live, but Centerpoint Church is a really good church. It is a non-demotional church that used to be baptist. They have so much to offer for the whole family. It is located in North richland Hills. WE loved it however, it does have that babtist feel and we where raised very charasamatic, so we know it is not the church for us. They are sooo friendly there and the pastor is soooo good. Hope this helps. Oh and I think the Pastor said something about a marriage retreat soon. He just started a marriage series last sunday.

Family Life does a "Weekend to Remember" marriage retreat in late May in Fort Worth (Renaissance) and the following week in early June in Grapevine at the Gaylord Texan (a 5 diamond resort). Though I have not personally been to this conference, our church that we use to attend in Irving goes to this one annually. Anyone that has been on it has really enjoyed it. Check out familylife.com and see what you think. IF the pricing is the same, I would personally do the one at Grapevine at the Gaylord Texan Resort which will have more ammenities as a hotel.
