Looking for a Book

Hi moms! I have been looking for the book "All about raising children" by Helen Andelin. It must be out of print or something because none of the stores I've checked has it or can order it. I have found it on Amazon & Ebay but the cheapest one I have found so far is $50! I live in a small town and they don't have it at my library. Any help you can give is appreciated!

What can I do next?

Some libraries will order books from other libraries. I think Colorado libraries do this across the state, but I haven't been involved in the library "world" for quite some time.

You could also put an ad on Craigslist saying you are looking for this book.

I also live in a small town and if we want a book that our library doesn't have we can request it from another library. They just have us fill out a form for an inter-library loan. Our's used to be free but now I think they charge a small fee to cover the shipping.

Good luck!

Go back to your library and see if you can get the book through inter-library loan. I don't know any library that cannot do this.

Hi L.,
I know how fun it is to get a hold of a particular book, but if you aren't able to find it, I do have some other titles on childrearing that I would recommend. What kind of book are you especially interested in?
Best wishes,
L.
