I live in Copper Lakes off Barker Cypress and ours is in a couple weeks. April 5, 7-1. I don't know if you are familar with the area but we are off Barker Cypress and Logenbaugh. Near the Berry Center.

I just bought some bare essentials a couple of weeks ago, and I absolutlety love it. When the store saleslady put some on me I was amazed at the coverage it gave me over my freckeles and blemishes. It is so hard to find a good powder/foundation that doesn't coat your face and make your skin feel even mor oily. I would definitely give it a try.

dont know about the garage sale but i use the medical (professional grade) version used to reduce the redness appearance (from chemicals or laser)or people who have lots of redness. anyway you have to watch the grocery store mineral makeup because usually they just add some minerals its not pure minerals ( i think bare minerals is pure though) anyway, mineral makeup is great for sensitive skin (that is why i use it) i use Jane Iredale its pricey but worth it. i use the liquid and the powder. sometimes i buy the blush and eyeshadows but really the foundation is what is important

no help on the garage sale, but I have been using the L'Oréal version of the bare minerals. I figured I would try this because it is a lot cheaper than some of the other products out there, and I would hate to spend all that money & then not like it... I also have combo skin- it's oily & flaky (don't ask me how, it's something I've been trying to figure out for years... LOL). I LOVE this stuff! I have major breakouts sometimes, and it completely covers. It's fabulous!

Check the Greensheet paper. You can get it at at Krogers or your local supermarket. It is free usually by the gumball machines.

Hi O., There is a garaqge sale in the Woodlands on the 29th of March from 7:00-10:00 am at Market Street. It is called the Woodlands "Flea" Market, but it is actually a garage sale. Also Bare Minerals is not bad- but there are three steps you have to take in order to use them. I used bare minerals when I lived in California just before we moved to Texas. It takes a lot longer to put on and makes your bathroom dirtier since you "tap" off the excess make-up from your brush and it doesn't always go back inside the small container. I liked bare minerals better on my face in Northern California than I do here. Probably the humidity...but she can always go into the store and have someone put it on her and give it a try.

Windrose is having their semiannual community garage sale on Saturday March 29. The neighborhood is located near 2920/Kuykendahl in Spring. It's usually very big and lots of fun. You should be able to find more info in the Greensheet, Chronicle and Craig's List.

I've never used Bare Minerals, although I have a friend, who has and she seems to like it alot. I use Origins, which works great for me. It's natural, gentle on your skin and great for combo skin. They have a serum called Modern Fusion, that is wonderful for getting the red out and balancing skin tone and removing blemishes.

Also try Cetaphil face cleanser. You can find it at local grocery stores and pharmacies.

I love Bare Minerals and I have oily skin, prone to acne. I use Beauticontrol's All Clear (ProActive left me bumps under the skin) and this makeup. I get it at Sephora in the malls.

We always sell really great things, and we sell more than just baby items. Hope you can make it out!

I can't help you with garage sale information. However, Bare Minerals is something I am familiar with. I have been using it since 2003. I have tried Avon and Mary Kay's version and they are not the same. I suggest you go to Ulta or JC Penney and try out the REAL Bare Minerals. It's not very expensive when you factor in how long it lasts. It feels fabulous on your face and looks great. Goes on in minutes and doesn't look like a "made up" face. I have not found that it makes your bathroom messier with tapping off excess from brush. Good quality brush should fix that.

Anyway, go to the store and try it before you buy it. I also recommend you try to find a match with the color and not let them talk you into "combining" two shades for a perfect match. Then you are mixing your color every time...maybe that's why the other respondant had a dirtier bathroom. You may have to blend some in summer time with tanning, but you should be able to find a shade that's a good match so there is limited blending along the way.
