I am finally doing it - I have 12" of hair to donate to this wonderful organization. I was just wondering if anyone knows a salon that will provide a free haircut with a Locks of Love donation. I know I have heard of this before but haven't in a while. Any help would be appreciated. Thanks!!
I donated my hair several years ago and used Jolie Salon in Corinth. They gave me a free haircut, packaged the hair up and shipped it off. I didn't have to do anything. I received my certificate card in the mail a couple of months later so I know they did actually send the hair.
Several of my friends in California have done this and it is such a blessing for you and the people who will receive your hair. God Bless YOU

Yeah for you...that is so great. My 7 year old daughter did the same thing, and we are now in the process of letting our hair grow, so we can donate it together. My daughter went to Saloon Suites in Lewisville and had Casey Simpson cut her hair at no charge since she was donating it to Locks of Love.
I just got info from Sonoma Grill & Wine Bar in Parker Square in Flower Mound. They are open on September 9th from 4:30-9:30pm to support LOCKS FOR LOVE!!

I believe the Terrace Retreat in Southlake cuts it and then gives you a free haircut. What an awesome thing you are doing!!!
I don't know if anyone around here does a free hair cut for such a thing. I have donated 3 times now and I just go and pay for a hair cut and mail it to them in a small box. It is a worthy cause and you will feel great about doing it!
Also, if you can't make it that day, you can google "Locks of Love salon" and a bunch pop up. My SON has been growing his hair for 4 years now (he is 13) His hair is past the middle of his back. He wants to let it grow 2 more inches and then he is cutting it off and donating it to locks of love. some people make fun of him at school, but he just tells them "I am growing it to donate to kids that don't have hair" and that shuts them right up! I think this is a great program!
I went to Ulta salon when I donated mine. I went to the one in Hurst, but you could see if the other salons do that as well.

Great Clips in Keller By the Kroger off of 1709 participates in the Lock of Love program. My mother has worked for that company for 12 yrs and I know from donating my own hair that they do it.
