Little Bleeding in 1St Trimester
Hi Ladies,
I am not freaking out just yet but i have started to bleed just a little bit and am about 12 weeks along. It is not even enough to fill a panty liner in a day. No cramping or anything else. i am going to call my doc in the morning. I was just wondering how common this is? This is my second baby. Any comments would be helpful
So What Happened?™
This little bleeding ended up being a miscarriage. According to teh ultrasound it looks like fetus stoped growing at 6 weeks and would be 10-12 weeks now.

Stay off your feet until you get a hold of your doctor. Its probably nothing, but they usually recommend bedrest if the spotting continues, so start now.

Hi,
The same thing happened to me and I did freak out. I bled a few times and I immediately went to my Dr. to find out that all was fine in there. I was told that bleeding is actually common during pregnancy, which I was really surprised. I wish you all the best.

That happened to me with my first baby. I remember calling my doctor in a panic, and he told me it was probably nothing but to come right in so he could check it out. It turned out to be nothing - I was fine, just had a little spotting. The baby turned out perfect! Call your doctor in the morning just to put your mind at ease, but try not to worry until then (I know, easier said than done). =)

i had more than a little bleeding during my first trimester with my first pregnancy and i worried a lot. sometimes i really feared i was losing the baby. my doctor just kept telling me to be on "Pelvic Rest", that it wasn't normal but they see it all the time... whatever that meant. i had to demand an unscheduled ultrasound a coupla times to relieve My stress, which i thought was important. my OB GYN said it may have been a small hemorage on the placenta and that it should go away by the second trimester. which it did, along with my nausea, like clockwork.
i can sympathize with you, it is scary. i suggest keeping an eye on it, even if you have to get demanding like i felt i needed to. rest, which is hard for this type A, really was important as i found i bled less when i did. the hard part for you with the pelvic rest may be the heavy lifting because of your 10 month old... my midwife and doulas encouraged me to stay positive and follow my intuition about how my body was doing. reading a bunch of medical stuff online, did Not help me with this, so i encourage you not to go that route.
good luck, god bless and Peace, J.
