I also maintain a very busy schedule but would be willing to get together for sports, cultural activities, or any other ideas you might have. I have a group from work that meets Wednesdays for tennis. I take my 3-yr-old daughter skating and I enjoy eating out. You're more than welcome to join in at your leisure.

I saw your post--I'm new to Houston as of last summer, and have a 2-month old baby girl. I am a full-time-at-home mom, so I have a pretty flexible schedule during the day to go places and do things as long as it is okay to have the baby along with us. My husband's schedule doesn't really allow for me to take a whole day/evening off by myself right now but if you are interested in a daytime outing with the little one tagging along I would love to, she's a good little traveler and likes being out and about in the world with me. I am an avid knitter and would love to teach you if you are interested, could introduce you to some knitting groups as I have made some really nice friends that way. I love exploring bead/fabric shops in Houston (I design sweaters and write knitting patterns). Gabrielle will be old enough to go to the swimming pool by the end of June so we could go to the outdoor pool at Lifetime Fitness. Let me know if this appeals to you--I may be able to get the occasional evening off in the coming months, as my husband's work will slow down a bit (the work he does is seasonal and right now is the crazy time of year & he works late a lot).
