Leapster2 Question
Hi all I am hoping that maybe one of you have an idea on a problem we are having. We just purchased the system and the creative cstle art studio consistantly freezes while she plays. Have other experienced this? If so how was it fixed. I have put in an e-mail to Leapfrog with this question but they say it can take up to 5 days to respond and well our daughter loves to play!

Veronica,
We got the Leapster for my son a year ago and we had a problem with one of the games. We took it back to Fred Meyer to get a new cartridge. When that didn't work we took the leapster back to Target and exchanged it for a new one and that fixed the problem.
I would go back to the store you got the Leapster2 from and tell them that it is defective.

I don't have an answer to your question, but was curious as to how your daughter is enjoying the Leapster (aside from the malfunction of the one game)? I'm thinking about getting it for my 4 year daughter, but wanted to know if it was worth the money? I also have a 2 year old son and was hoping to get something he would enjoy that is educational as well as fun! Good luck with the program freezing - bummer! E.

If it freezes it is a software problem, just exchange the toy ASAP. Good luck!

You have to make sure the keyboard and the power thingy are lined up. There is a laser that goes from the front of the keyboard to the power part that is plugged into the VCR. If there are not close enough or right in front of each other it won't work. The keyboard is wireless if it is the same one we have and so the beam from the keyboard has to be able to reach the other part. Good luck!
