Im 36 weeks and 3 days. For the past few days i've been a very little bit having clear oderless liquid come out. and sometimes its liquidy discharge. and irregularly been getting some contrations. and also a few days ago i think i lost some of my mucus plug it was like snot and it was kinda yellowish and clear (sorry tmi). about a week or so ago i went to the hospital for pains and dizzyness and stuff they tested me no water leaking. and i was barely 1 cm dialated. idk if i should be worried. i tried to get ahold of my OB but never know answer. Idk if i should be worried or not?

oh I hate the end of pregnancy! It could be absolutely nothing or serious...for me I had it all three times and I was just fine. The bag can even tear a little and reseal or it can be a slow leak that needs to checked out. I know it is just hard to think about, but if you continue to notice it and feel concerned, just go on to the ER and tell them you are concerned you might be in labor you are having continued watery discharge. They can get ahold of your doctor and also check if your fluid level is down. Don't feel bad at all, even if it is nothing, if you feel concerned just take your bag and get checked. For me, my first check point was to drink some apple juice and lay on my side and my babies would just go to town kicking and squirming. I always felt fine if that was going good, but if you are worried about sleeping all night without being checked, just go in. Hang in there and congrats!

Go get checked out...by your OB or at the hospital. And make sure they swab really well......with a speculum. They can tell you which it is....you can't yourself. If you do have a small tear and are leaking amniotic fluid.....it is impair twice that you know. You can get an infection which is serious to the baby!

This happened to me...closer to my due date. I is go in, and the nurses did a quick swab and said discharge...go home. I knew I was leaking. I went in about 8 hours later after slowing of the fetal movement. They tested again, with a speculum, and yes I was leaking. They rushed me into l&d for pitocin in order to get the baby out as soon as possible. This is serious.

When I was 36w I also had this happen. I was in in-patient care at the time so I had quick access to doctors. I was totally scared, but the nurses acted like I was crazy for even asking that, and when I told my OB the next morning she told me I had nothing to worry about. But, of course, everyone's pregnancy is different so if you're worried about it definitely get an answer out of your OB. Good luck and congrats on your little one on the way.

Are you seeing your doctor weekly now? If so I would have them check it out and tell them it's leaking out, whatever it is. I would guess if you are losing some of the plug you are leaking some too. You would know if it breaks though as it pours out but you don't want too much to leak out either and have a dry birth, which I doubt is happening. To be sure have your doctor check you this week.
