Hi! This request is on behalf of a friend. Their sitter just gave them one week notice and they are needing to find childcare ASAP. They both work 12hr shifts and would need a daycare or private care who would offer late pick up like 7:30- 8:00pm in Plano area. Any suggestions or comments are greatly appreciated.
What city do they live in? I currently work full time, but would like to stay home with my two boys, and babysit until mid august when i start college, i am 29 years old.
Children's Choice Daycares are great. They are fairly new to the area - one over at Medical City Dallas - about 5 years old. They just built a new one over off of George Bush and Jupiter?? Someone up there. Anyway, My son started when he was about two when they first opened, he went their until kindergarten and they were wonderful. I was sad to leave, he still has fond memories of the school and wants to go back and say hi. They used to be open 24 hours, b/c they catered to the hospital, but there just wasn't enough demand, so they cut those hours back, but still offer breakfast and dinner. For the kids that had to be there the long hours, they had actual beds, dinner made and everything. Look into it!
Hi A. - Besides Adventure Kids, there are two daycares with late hours in the city of Plano: Seay Child Care Center, 6100 Parker Rd. W. ###-###-####), is open until 7:30, and Children's Choice New Beginnings, 1616 Ave G ###-###-####), is open 24 hours (not sure if still true - other Children's Choices in the area are no longer 24 hours & close instead at 7:30).
I cannot vouch for either of those, as we haven't shopped them yet, but they're in my database with those hours. If there is any other area that you'd like me to look up closing times, let me know - hope that helps! S.

Try adventure kids in Plano, I think they are Park & Preston. They are drop in daycare and I think they are open evenings.
