Laminate Flooring - Lewisville,TX

A few weeks ago there was a request on how to clean laminate floors. There was one response about water, vinegar and another ingredient, but I can't remember what it was. I don't care for the laminate cleaner they sell at the stores .. too many steps. Any suggestions?

What can I do next?

Mix 1 cup white vinegar in 1 gallon of water (I store mine in an old milk jug). Add the vinegar/water mix to a spray bottle. Spray on your floor & wipe with a flat dust mop that has a washable microfiber cover. No streaks & no stickiness!

We just use glass cleaner to clean our laminate wood floors. It doesn't leave residue and dries very quickly. We got this tidbit from the installer years ago and love it.

I sell and use environmentally friendly and non-toxic cleaning products. 1/2 my house is laminate flooring and this is what I use on them. I also use it on my tile, my linoleum, my counter tops, my windows and more. It does a great job, and there is no odor. I used this stuff before I started to sell it. In fact that is why I decided to sell it because I thought it was so great. It is from the Shaklee line that Oprah had on her favorite things show. The specific cleaner is called Basic H2. One bottle can last me up to a year as you dilute it. If you would like to see it follow this link:

I just use Swiffer Wet on mine, I have for 3 years and it does a great job... 1 step... well 3. Put the pad on the mop, mop, throw it away :-)

I have a lab that sheds and 2 boys but my floors are always clean.

Good Luck!
