I can't afford one right now. I do need a mixer. Does anyone know which brand is a good one without the big price?

What can I do next?

So What Happened?

I want to thank everyone for responding. Mother' Day is next month. Im going to tell my family that I want everyone to contribute at least 20.00 to go towards my Kitchenaid Mixer. If I don't have enough by then, I will buy the Hamilton beach mixer. Thanks

Do you have a Kohl's? They usually have things on sale, then if you get their coupons in the mail you get even more off the price. That store usually offers a great value.

I would check ebay or craigslist. Many people out there are like me who had to have it, got it and barely use it. I've had mine for 7 years and maybe used it 10 times.

I got a Kitchenaid for my brother and sister-in-law as a wedding gift. I found it at Kohl's for about $160. If you shop carefully you can find great deals. They are totally worth the price.

Go on craigslist or ebay. They really are worth the investment. Swear to you there is nothing like them.

I got ours secondhand from a coworker that barely used it. I would look on ebay or craig's list to see if someone else wants to unload one.

My Kitchenaid is a refurbished one. Much less expensive. Perhaps you can find one of those in your price range?

We love, love, love our Kitchenaid. However, sometimes it's just easier to use a hand-held for a small job. I have a Hamilton Beach Bowl Rest 225W 6 speed burst with its own storage case that fits very nicely in the cabinet. I think you'd do very well with that. Save up for that Kitchenaid! Price it at different places, including Costco.

Do you have a Macy's Home Store near you? I got mine a few years ago when they had a huge sale on their kitchen items, and bought a Kitchenaid Mixer at a good discount. If you're willing to wait and save, that might be a way to go.

I have also used the Sunbeam and it's a good one.
