Kitchen Redo
We live in Evanston and am looking to redo our kitchen cabinets and counter tops. We are looking for good quality work and are willing to pay a reasonable price to have a good experience. Anyone have a recomendation for a good contractor for kitchen remodels in our area?

Hey S. -
My husband and I run a small GC company.
We are licensed and insured, and I would be happy to come out and give you a quote. We actually did some work for another person through mama source and it worked out really well.
His email is ____@____.com did the build-out for his storefront.
I could send you some pictures of kitchens we've done if you like. My direct email is ____@____.com
if you're interested.
Regards - A.

S.,
We have had lots of work done on our house. I recommend Maurice Forde. His company is Forde Windows and Remodeling. He is in Northbrook and he and his guys are good workers and good people as well. He has many certifications and has won many awards for designing kitchens. If you are interested, I can find the number for you. You can also google him to find his website.
Good luck.

I would suggest to get several bids from General Contractors & Stay AWAY from Kitchen and Bath Places, You will only pay double. My husband & I did a condo conversion and used Beacon Kitchen & Bath in Elmwood Park & the cabinets were double the amount of $ and the same quailty cabinets that I put in my own home. I should have never listened to my husband and I should have listened to my own gut feelings.
Check out Thomasville at Home Depot they are very good quality, higher end, and reasonable. Good Luck with your Kitchen, V.

We have had a wonderful experience with Keith Wilson of WilCo Inc. He did our kitchen approx 3 years ago and several other small and large jobs since. His guys are there when they say they will be, the job takes as long or less as they say it will, they clean up after themselves and do fantastic work. He's not the cheapest guy out there, but also not the most expensive. Most importantly, he's honest and reliable. Tell him K. and Alex suggested him. ###-###-####.
