Kitchen Faucets: Regular, Pull-out or Pull-down??

We are remodeling our kitchen and I need to pick out a new kitchen faucet. I've only ever had a "regular" kitchen faucet, but it looks like pull-out and pull-down sprayer/faucet combos are now all the rage. For those of you that have the pull-out/down faucets, are you happy with the feature, is it annoying in any way, would you get it again?

What can I do next?

I have a pull-out faucet and love it - it's great for filling up pots that aren't sitting in the sink, for spraying right down close to items, etc. Mine has 2 options - regular spray and a fine stronger spray.
At my old house I used to have a sprayer that got caught on a knob under the sink, so it was kind of a pain. Be sure the lower part is long enough and won't be getting stuck on anything.

I have one (a Kohler) and I absolutely love it! Very useful and not at all annoying (except for the times I forget when it's on spray mode and I spray in the wrong direction--operator error!)

Maybe you can find someone with a kitchen that has one and try it out a little.

Good luck!

We have a pull-out sprayer and I absolutely love it. If I had to replace it, I'd get it again.

We have the pull out faucet, and have found it very useful. I can water near by plants with out filling up a cup or moving the plant, another use fill up a big pot that may not fit well under the faucet. We would get one again, but a nicer one not the cheapest one.

We used to have one. I miss it.

You should definitely get a pull down or pull-out faucet, I don't think you would regret it! We have a pull-out one, and I love it for many reasons! It just makes everything easier, we use it all the time - rinsing/cleaning out the sink, etc. I can't think of anything I don't like about it, esp. compared to a "regular" faucet. Besides, it can be used that way also, just has the extra option of being pulled out when required, and it won't take long to find a lot of ways that is useful ;-)
