Kids Games

Sorry, another reunion question.

What are some good games to play with kids at a picnic. We used to be in charge of games, but I'm kind of drawing a blank. I've delegated the games to another couple, but I never received confirmation from them that they are going to do the games. I just want to be prepared.

Can you tell the reunion is this weekend and I'm starting to get nervous?

What can I do next?

We just did a tug of war competition for 4th of July and it was hilarious and great! Boys vs girls, moms vs dads, moms vs boys, last names A-J vs K-Z - you can come up with all kinds of categories!

Marshmallow guns were a HUGE hit at our reunion! The adults and the kids went crazy. one hint though: some older family members might not enjoy all of the excitement so you will need perimeters or boundaries! lol It was as much fun to watch as it was to play for many parents and grandparents! I'm nearly 60 and I wish we could do it again but some stick in the mud adults hated it.÷(
