Kid Friendly Restaurants in Sugar Land and Missouri City

Can y'all recommend kid friendly restaurants in Sugar Land & Missouri City? I have 2 boys -- 2.5 and 12 years old. We just moved here from San Antonio.

I also posted a question about orthodontist recommendations in the area -- do y'all have a good one? i think we will be spending a lot of time there soon!

THANKS!

What can I do next?

My kids love Incredible Pizza: http://www.ipcsugarland.com/

My husband an I go out to eat fairly often. I would recommend Chili's, Olive Garden, Red Robin. Most of the chain restaurants are pretty family friendly. Denny's is great for a family breakfast.

I'm not sure of an orthodontist, but ABC 123 Pediatric dentist in Pearland is a great general dentist for children. It's a pretty new office so they have state of the art equipment and the staff there is great. (I't off of McHard rd, take 288).

Good luck!

Lupe Tortilla on Hwy 59 near Hwy 6 is great. Good food and an outdoor playground for the kids.
La Escondida in Missouri City on Hwy 6 has GREAT food and a kid's menu. It doesn't have an outdoor playground like Lupe's does, but we take the kids in there all of the time and it's kind of loud, so nobody cares.
Candelari's Pizza has an outdoor playground as well, but the food is a little overpriced there in my opinion.
There is also all of the standard chain places like Chili's, Carino's, etc.
Grimaldi's pizza near Town Center has pizza dough for the kids to play with while you wait. I've never taken my kids there, but others recommended it!

Hope this helps and welcome to the area! You aren't in Sienna Plantation by any chance are you?

Lupes Tortillas off of 59. There is a shaded sand box play area perfect for kids your little one and there are dining tables adjacent.

Los Galitos---3385 Hwy. 6 location. There is a patio area in the back that overlooks a small lake, also with a playground area and a large play set.

Grimaldis pizza near 1st colony mall. I had no interest in this place until I heard about the reviews. The original is in Brooklyn and has 3 hour waits. Trust me on this one....I'm a yankee and I know good pizza. They give the kids pizza dough to play with while waiting for the food....if they aren't busy, they can get a pizza out in 10-15 minutes. I think it's very reasonable too---large pizzas for $15 and house wine for mommy for $4 :)

Sam's Boat during the DAY and NOT on a weekend night for kids. Its off 59 in the "fountains area". It has an outdoor patio setting over water and the kids can feed the fish crackers or fries for fun.

For fast food, the Chic Filets are great and have clean play areas for your toddler. Also, they have family nights with different entertainment, certain days have story telling, face painting, balloons, etc. I would google them and look into your specific location or go in person and see if they have a flyer telling you about upcoming activities.

I'm not a Luby's fan but I hear kids eat free on certain nights.

You can google any of the above to find directions, they are all in sugar land.

No advice for ortho, best bet is to get a reputable dentists reputation. Ask your neighbors.

One of the nice things you will find about this area is that is it very family oriented. You will rarely go to any restaurant where there are not families dining together. I would not hesitate to take your kids to any casual restaurant in the area you want to try.

I have not gotten into orthodontics yet, so I am not sure what is out there. The children's dentist I used when my child was young is now retired.

I have found the website below to be helpful!! I hope you enjoy it and find fun places along with nights where kids eat free!!!!!!!!
