Keller Auditorium

Hi ladies, I actually have an non-mommy related question! I'm just curious if any of you have been to Keller Auditorium and what you think of the seating and views. We've lived here almost 3 years and I've never been to Keller. I'm trying to get tickets to Wicked and the ticketmaster people don't know a thing! Any input would be appreciated, thanks!!

What can I do next?

We went to see "Stomp" at the Keller a couple of years back and sat in, literally, the very back row of the balcony and I felt like I had a great view and could see/hear everything just fine. I actually liked being in the balcony because I got a good view of the whole stage, even the back. Personlly, I wouldn't pay the extra money to sit on the floor level. I'm not super picky about things like that either. Like someone else mentioned, if you are in the back of the theater try and get seats toward the center.

If you google keller auditorium there are a few reviews and I think they were all good. We went in August to go see Phantom of the Opera and it was great! I think we had mid-priced seats, sorry some details I don't know my husband did most of it. You could bring drinks and snacks to your seat which was nice. They have a snack counter downstairs and a bar upstairs. They also had a special going for dinner but it was an all inclusive meal, limited choices, but a great view of the outdoors. There is that waterfall/park right across the street which will give you some good photo ops. We parked just one block away and walked through the park. I think if you google it you will also get other points of interest nearby which would give you an idea for close restaurants. We took a cab afterwards and had dinner at The Portland City Grille. The food was FABULOUS, prices were reasonable for a nicer restaurant and the view is incredible! It is on the top floor of the US Bank. I think Costco has a giftcard for there. It's a $100 card for $80. It is good at quite a few different places. There were also giftcard coupons mailed out to people not too long ago. Okay well That's all I can thik of. Hope you have a great time.

I have been to Keller numerous times, and have sat in different spots, and have always had a good view of the stage, and a great experience, until the last time I went to see the Nutcracker. I got the cheapest seats there were. They were the Orchestra level, over to the very left like the very last seats, closest to the wall....a third of the stage was cut out of my view. That was a bummer, but I still enjoyed the performance. If you are in Orchestra level, just try to get the seats towards center stage, and you should be fine! Enjoy Wicked!

Any seat is pretty good as long as it is centered. Just look at a map of the venue. The outlets all have them.

Hi, depending upon who is presenting the event (sounds like the opera to me)you can go down in person and buy the tickets at their box office, there they will have seating maps for you to look at. Or view the opera website for a seating map of the Keller, they should be there. Really most seats in the space are good. I like to sit close up- the sides are usually where the deals are. I used to sell tickets for the space. Hope this helps.

Anything past the first balcony is a waste in my opinion. I also prefer the first balcony to floor and if you choose to do the box seating on the first, only do the middle - too far to either side and you can't see part of the stage.

well, it depends on what you want to see. If you want faces you need to be in the lower level no more that half up. It also depends on how much you want to spend. I personaly have season tickets for the plays and my seats are lower level waaaay back. Yea, I wish I could see the faces but I get to go to every play for about $10 to $15 per play. Can't beat that. If you are intrested in going to many of the plays you should check into the season tickets. They really give you a break in cost. Have fun!
