i know it's very rare. but sometimes you can have your period, when you are pregnant. if the hospital test says you are negative. it's 100% you are not pregnant. also stress can make your period come sooner and different every month?

What can I do next?

E.:

You have had 5 hospital tests that say you were NOT pregnant.

stress can do funny things to your body - make periods late, early and so much more....

Go to your PCP and have a complete physical. if you have stress - find someone you can talk to about it.

Good luck!

In between my 1st and 2nd babies I was very stressed out--my in-laws were living with me, I was working FT, and just wasn't happy. My period ceased for about 3 months. I had my thyroid checked, fine; hospital pregnancy tests, negative. When my in-laws moved out (the source of 90% of my stress), my period returned within weeks.

You NEED to see your ob/gyn to figure this out.
You are not pregnant.
How badly to you WANT to be pregnant?
There is such a thing as hysterical pregnancy - you feel pregnant, you look pregnant - but there IS no baby.
You could have any number of things going wrong that are affecting your cycle.
Hormone imbalance can mess up your cycle.
Peri-menopause can mess up your cycle (it can come earlier for some women than others).
Cancer can mess up your cycle.
Stress can be a BIG factor in messing up your cycle and yes - it can affect your cycle every month for a long time.
It might be serious - it might be NOT serious - it might be easily fixable once you determine what the problem is.
It doesn't hurt to take prenatal vitamins.
You are suppose to start taking them before you try to conceive.
Talk about all this at your doctors appointment.
Stop guessing about what it might be and go find out what it is.

Oh, the joys of being a woman! Irregular periods are one of the biggest joys...that and our ability to retain water. Oh, and don't forget menapause...I'm soooo looking forward to that.

Some women are put on birth control pills to regulate their cycles. Talk to your gynocologist.

You are more than a month overdue. You are not pregnant. Please see a doctor about your symptoms. You have had a bunch of tests for several weeks and they all say no. If it's more than a month since your last period and you are testing negative, it's negative.

Yes, if the hospital test is negative then you are not pregnant. Their tests are accurate.

you can have bleeding when you're pregnant, yes, it could even happen once a month, but IT IS NOT YOUR PERIOD - a pregnant woman does not have a period! a blood test is a sure thing, a hospital urine test is really no different than a home urine test - so, assuming no lab/human errors, a blood test should be considered accurate. there are all manner of variables that can cause irregularity with duration/timing/flow of your monthly cycle.
