I highly recommend Pueblo Pediatrics (www.pueblopeds.com) and I go to Valley Women for Women OB/GYN. I've been very happy with both. My dentist and family doctor are pretty far up north and far from Gilbert, so I don't have recommendations for you there. As for hourly care, we've been taking our daughter to Recess Kids Club on Val Vista and Baseline in the Dana Park Shopping Center. The place is great.

Welcome to AZ!

Try my dentist. It's called 1st Gentle Dentistry. A well designed family office with personalized, professional service. Dr.Caryn Lee and her team is so gentle and also very personable. Main thing I like about Dr.Lee is that she makes you feel very comfortable and also I could tell that she is very honest. The office is clean, and price was lower than I expected. I never waited more than 5 minutes for my appointments. www.1stgentle.com I think this is their website.

Well I just found Freestone Park in Gilbert. Which is a really fun park. It is really big with multiple playgrounds. They also have a carosel and train that you can buy tickets for. It is about 2 dollars a ride. There are big ponds and ducks everywhere. So it is a fun place to take your kids if they just want to have some cheap fun. I go to Dr. Gregory Layton. The office is close to Banner Gateway Hospital which I have heard is the best maternity around. I have really enjoyed my doctors office they are really friendly and don't make you feel like a number.

I just moved away from Chandler to Sierra Vista, AZ. When I was in Chandler we had a great pediatrician who was at Betheseda Peadiatrics Dr. Eric Nyman. He was located on N. Alma School. When ever I was sick I would just go to the walk in clinic on S. Alma School in Mesa. I can't remember the name but it between the Chandler city limits and the freeway. I avoided the OB GYN...lol. I just looked up the dentist I likes so much and they are closed so I can't help you with that one. I had my 4 year old in a private home daycare but I don't think she is excepting more kids right now. Our favorite place to go was the Rainforrest Cafe. I loved it because my boys are noisy and it is so loud there that they could not disturb anyone because the resteraunt was louder than they were. The Melting Pot is a great resterant and very high dollar but great for a romantic evening. I hope I have helped. V.

Welcome to Gilbert!

Pediatrician- Mark Gentile, ###-###-#### Val Vista and Williams Field I see another mom suggested him as well

I wish I knew how old your kids are to suggest stuff to do. If they are little, Freestone park is fun like someone else suggested. There is a Children's museum downtown by the baseball stadium that is AWESOME, called Children's Museum of Phoenix http://www.childrensmuseumofphoenix.org/

OR there is a smaller children's museum called AZ Museum for Youth in Mesa http://www.arizonamuseumforyouth.com/Home.aspx

you should also get a booklet sent to your house from Gilbert Parks and Recreation called Leisure Pursuits with all of the classes they offer, we do quite a few. They are listed on their website also, and the winter session starts in a few weeks. www.gilbertrecreation.com

You can also go to the town of gilbert website or also Chandler's website and find splash pads and public pools for when it gets hot (sooner than you think!) There is a new one called Mesquite Groves aquatic center that has a lazy river, toddler slides, etc that is pretty cool. http://www.chandleraz.gov/default.aspx?pageid=301

Its an amazing place to live! Welcome again!
