Jogging Stroller

I'm looking for a good jogging stroller. Any suggestions - easy to use (collapses easily), smooth ride and easy to handle & that I don't have to be a weight lifter to move it in and out of my car.

What can I do next?

Hi G.! I'm glad everyone enjoys the BOB Stroller b/c I will say that I have a Jeep Jogging Stroller and I like it just okay. It is very heavy and hard to navigate. But it has a few perks too, it does ride smoothly and it has speakers so my son and I can listen to my ipod while jogging. It is more reasonable in terms of price also.

We love the BOB Revolution! We only have one little guy, so we have the single, but it is etremely smooth and easy to steer. It's not too heavy either, and I know they have a dualie. They sell them at REI and if you sign up for their e-newsletter online they will email you a discount coupon- I think it was as much as 20%, but I can't quite remember.

Have you looked at the Bob? We have the revolution (the model with the rotating front wheel - which you can lock in place), and we love it! It's really well-made, and for being a big stroller, folds up fairly compactly. It's very easy to steer with one hand, which is important. Bob makes a jogging-only version with a fixed front wheel. If you want a stroller purely for running, I hear that the fixed wheel versions are best, as they have larger wheels. But if you want a good general use "SUV" stroller (which even navigates the grocery store aisles), get the Bob Revolution. REI sells them - watch for a sale, especially when they clear out the 2007 models.

We got a BOB Revolution and love it!!! My daughter just started sitting in it w/o the carseat and she seems to like it a lot. I would get the newer model (ie 2007) b/c there is a reclining feature that the older models don't have. This stroller feels sturdy, light, easy to handle & easy to collapse tightly. Good luck in finding a stroller!

I just bought a "BOB" stroller and I absolutely LOVE it! I had purchased a Jeep jogging stroller and it weighed a ton, had horrible turning radius, etc. etc....The "BOB" stroller is fantastic...super light weight, collapses easily and doesn't even feel like I am pushing a stroller. It is expensive ( I paid $360 ), but I can actually use it!!!! Good luck!

We, too, use a BOB stroller. We have the BOB Revolution and love it. My husband jogs with it, but I take it hiking. It works great for both because the suspension makes for a comfortable ride for the baby. It is surprisingly easy to push, even up hill. The front wheel can be locked straight (for jogging) or unlock for walking, hiking, etc. Yes, it is pricey, but check out REI.

We also bought a Chariot for pulling behind the bicycle. It works great for that, but when we bought the attachment to make it a jogging stroller we were NOT pleased. It was heavy and cumbersome. (And the front wheel couldn't be unlocked.)
