JFF, How Do You Sleep?

How do you sleep? On your back, front, or side? Do you move around in your sleep? I sleep mostly on my stomach, have for most of my life, sleeping while pregnant was difficult for me :-) I don't move around much, unless I'm having some kind of crazy active dream.

What can I do next?

On my tummy, covers over my head, concave memory foam pillow, legs on top of a pillow, no music, scented candle, no lights, mask on eyes to block out morning light.

Left side, right side, too hot--turn on fan, too cold, pull up the blankets, up to pee, too hot, up for a drink, too cold, pull up the blankets, left side, right side, too hot, throw off blankets, stomache, turn up fan, too cold, turn fan off, right side.....repeat for roughly six hours.

Get the picture? Lol

Right now I'm not sleeping for squat. Luckily, it's coinciding with an extreme libido upswing! ;)

I'm a side sleeper - either side will do.
If I get too warm while sleeping I tend to push the blanket aside.

I move around. I will be on my back with my arms stretched over my head, then on my stomach, then side to side. I can't stay in one position for too long or my arthritis in my lower back starts to hurt. Back when my babies were little and I shared the bed with them so they could nurse at night it was torture because I didn't have room to roll around and I was afraid I would roll onto the babies, so I never got to have a deep sleep.

I sleep sort of on my side and stomach. Not totally on my side, but not fully on my stomach either. I usually toss and turn and switch sides. I need a pillow to hug too :)

I sleep on my stomach too! Ditto the lack of pregnancy sleep!

We must be those few percent of people who sleep on their stomachs, because that's my go to. Pregnancy was impossible.

On my right side and stomach.

I refuse to sleep on my left side when I'm not pregnant ;-)

I have chronic insomnia and when I do sleep I am rolling over between various sides and my back. I'm a wild sleeper when it happens.

When I fall asleep I don't move at all. I've had people wake me up during the night just to see if I was alive. They thought I was dead because I wasn't moving and my breathing was so shallow.

I sleep mostly on my sides. I don't have a preferred way to sleep. I did the stomach think almost all my life until I got sleep apnea so bad I was waking up gasping for breath. So I started sleeping with my head higher and stomach sleeping doesn't work well then.

i rock and roll all over. back, front, both sides, covers on, covers off. i rarely have insomnia and enjoy my sleep, but i'm not a quiet sleeper (and i dream non-stop!) i'm in awe of people who just go to sleep and don't move until it's time to get up!

I generally end up sleeping on my tummy. I move around when the cat who's on top of me makes me uncomfortable. When there are two cats on top of me it's very uncomfortable.
